Pope Zeigler's regulatory attorneys have played lead roles in major electric and natural gas rate cases, electric fuel clause proceedings and natural gas purchased gas adjustment proceedings for more than 20 years. The firm's senior regulatory attorneys have been involved in major rate cases, fuel clause proceedings, territorial assignment matters, and contractual matters for regulated utilities. Pope Zeigler served as lead regulatory counsel for the siting and pre-construction review for South Carolina Electric and Gas Company’s $6.3 billion project to build two nuclear units at V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in Jenkinsville, in partnership with the South Carolina Public Service Authority.
